The South Bay Families Connected (SBFC) not-for-profit board thanks our generous Supporters and Education Partners for their commitment to improving the social-emotional wellness and mental health of our South Bay youth, as well preventing harmful patterns of concern in our community, including underage substance abuse.

Donations made to SBFC support the following components of the project:
Connecting parents and caregivers with evidence-based wellness information, trending articles, and resources through our free monthly Families Connected E-newsletter, including our special Red Ribbon Week edition, and social media pages.
Supporting parents throughout the South Bay with our online Parent Resources, Teen Resources, SBFC videos, and national resources offered on the Families Connected website.
Providing free education events, community outreach, teen workshops, and the SBFC Vaping Prevention Tour. .
Effectively and efficiently boosting parent engagement throughout the South Bay via SBFC’s mobile responsive SBFC Event Calendar.
Reducing the stigma around the challenges that many families face by connecting our community with authentic stories and expert advice via the SBFC Parent Blog and Teen Blog, as well as issue-specific awareness efforts, like our South Bay Opioid Awareness project.
Establishing collaborative relationships with other area not-for-profits, school administrators, community stakeholders, and parents to ensure that the project meets the needs of the community in a way that avoids duplication of service and maximizes its reach. We are proud and honored to serve as a resource to families at our 90 SBFC Partner Schools.
